Going to the Temple

Dale and I have made it a goal to get to the Temple once a month. We went last night. Better late than never. It was a good date. I walked into the Chapel and the witness couple watched me as I sat down. Then the lady waved. I waved back being friendly and all but could not think of who she was. It wasn't until after the prayer circle that I realized who she was. It was great seeing you Maree Berry. It has been a few years. We should get together and do lunch or something. Maree is an old friend from my college days at BYU.

Now Dale and I are getting ready to take the girls to Twilight. What fun.

Our stake Relief Society had Enrichment this morning.  Sister Ardeth Kapp, former YW General President was the speaker.  She just knew what to say and what scriptures to turn to.  It was a very uplifting morning.  Thanks to my family for allowing me to go and for doing your chores while I was gone.

Dale and I went to the a Utah Grizzly hockey game last night.  The first period was pretty boring.  They were playing the Idaho Steelheads.  Before we knew it the score was 0-2.  The second period was much better.  The Grizzly came back and before we knew it the score was 2-3. There were two fights in that period right in front of us.  One guy ended up with a bloody lip.  This is what Dale likes about hockey, all the slamming into the glass.  We sat 6 rows back from the ice and on the end where the Grizzly's come out of their locker.  By the end of the 3rd period the score was tied 5-5.  I thought we would win in over time.  Idaho made a goal in the first 32 seconds of overtime and the game was over.  What a sad outcome, but it was a fun night.

I need to learn how all of this works.  It may take me a while.

Heather and Rachel are in the school play.  It is Alice in Wonderland this year.  Heather is the caterpillar that sings "AEIOU" all the time and Rachel is the Lobster.  It should be fun.

The Young Men and Youmg Women had a challenge going the last month.  The YM usually win these challenges.  They got a little cocky this time and lost, but only by a few.  The YM had to make the YW dinner.  Better luck next time boys.  I am proud of Nicholas and Christopher for trying to do the challenges.

Well, I finally gave in and I am starting a blog.  I hope that this works.  We will just have to wait and see.
