Mission

Summer 2011

We have not done a whole lot for summer this year. We have been to Lagoon and Willard Bay a couple of times. We even went to grandpa Nielsen's cabin down at Scofield for the 4th of July. I will be teaching at a Charter school this next fall so my girls will be going to a different school. We are going to try them there and hope things go great. Nicholas is working at Pizza Plus still, working on getting a couple of high school classes out of the way, and just staying busy. Christopher is down to less than 10 months to go on his mission. We are excited. Dale still has a job at ATK despite all the lay-offs. We keep praying he keeps a job.

Temple Square

Went to Temple Square in Salt Lake City to see the lights with the Young Women and Young Men. It was a fun night. Thanks Alison for the pictures.

Catching Up

It has been forever since I last blogged. At least that is what it seems like. It has been 6 months since Christopher left on his mission. He is serving in the Mississippi, Jackson mission. He is loving it. As he said in his letter this week, only 18 more fast Sundays and then he will be home. I love him; he is awesome just like the rest of my children.

I am still teaching at Ogden High. I am now teaching Geometry and Quantitative Analysis. They are terrific classes. I am working hard to learn lots about teaching and reaching all of the children. I am also the Young Women's president at church. I love these girls. They have really strengthened my testimony.

Dale is still at ATK. We are glad he still has a job. He works really hard out there.

Can't Keep Up

My computer has been dead for 2 months now. We finally got it fixed. In the mean time I didn't feel like downloading pictures to the other computer seeing that all the other pictures are on this one. I will get caught up hopefully over the weekend. It is hard to keep up what with a job that I travel to in Ogden every day and being a single parent basically for the last 3 months. Dale is home now for a few weeks, so maybe things will go better.
